Can I send someone to pick up a batch?
In order for a third party to collect your lot on your behalf, you must send a request to administracion@balclis.com indicating who will collect the lot and attaching the accreditation / DNI of both.
Will you send me the winning lot?
To collect the lot you have three options:
1- You take the object or objects yourself in your own vehicle.
2- Balclis organizes the transportation of the pieces, after accepting a written estimate.
3- Balclis advises you and provides you with the contact information of a company specialized in art transport so that you can organize it directly with them.
Can a lot not be physically in Balclis?
Indeed, it is possible that not all lots are physically in Balclis. Due to its dimensions it may be located in our Warehouse.
What is the bid scale?
Up to € 100: € 5
From € 100 to € 200: € 10
From € 200 to € 500: € 25
From € 500 to € 1,000: € 50

What happens in the event of a tie or equal bids?

How and who sets the minimum initial bid?
The minimum initial bid, also known as the Minimum Sale Price, is given by our experts' estimate of a valuable item / s based on prices reached for similar lots in past auctions. The lowest value of this estimate is chosen.
When does the auction of a face-to-face lot end?
The end time will be when the auctioneer terminates the auction of the last lot.

How do I know when an auction starts?
You can consult it in the Auctions section of our website or you can also contact us directly and make the consultation.
Can I see the lots displayed on auction days?
It's not possible. The exhibition always ends on the day prior to the start of the auction. On the day of the auction, the lots are removed as it is held in the same room where the lots have been exposed.
Can I see the lots before the auction?
For face-to-face auctions, you can always see the lots prior to the auction day. On the day of the auction, the lots are removed since it is held in the same room where the lots have been exposed.
Does the bid amount include VAT?
The bid amount does not include VAT, commission, or other possible associated costs. The VAT charged is on the commission, not on the final amount of the winning bid.
Someone has made several bids in a row. Why?
The bidder seeks to achieve the Minimum Price.
I think the seller of the lot is bidding to increase the price.
The contract we sign with our sellers strictly forbids this. In addition, our own technology does not allow sellers bid on their own lots.
How do I know if my bid is the winner?
There are two ways to find out:
1. We notify you by email.
2. Through phone call.
Why was my maximum bid not winning?
There can be two reasons: it has been exceeded or it has not reached the minimum price.
Can I reduce or cancel my bid?
No, each bid is binding and cannot be withdrawn.
What is an estimate?
An Estimate is the approximate value (it is a price range) that our experts believe that the lot will reach at auction based on the price for which similar works have been sold in the national and international market in the United States last years.
What does 'minimum sale price' mean?
The Minimum Sale Price is the lowest quantity that starts an auction. It is a price agreed by Balclis and the transferor of the object or seller.
What does 'minimum initial bid' mean?
The Minimum Initial Bid is the minimum amount to start bidding on a part.
What does 'maximum bid' mean?
The highest bid is the highest price you are willing to pay for a lot at auction.
What is an 'extended bid'?
An Extended Bid is awarded when there is a bid that is made in the last minute of the auction. The system then adds three more minutes to the auction so that the previous bidders can make a last bid.
Why is the term (extended time) to bid for some lots sometimes lengthened?
If a bid is placed at the last minute of the auction, we give three more minutes of time for previous bidders to make a last bid.
