When and who founded Balclis?
In 1979, Antonio Climent Benaiges, a pioneer in the importation of antiques at the national level, and Juan Baldrich decided to found a pioneering auction room. How long do I have to go to collect / manage the collection of the batch?
15 calendar days without incurring additional expenses.
Can I send someone to pick up a batch?
In order for a third party to collect your lot on your behalf, you must send a request to administracion@balclis.com indicating who will collect the lot and attaching the accreditation / DNI of both.
Will you send me the winning lot?
To collect the lot you have three options:
1- You take the object or objects yourself in your own vehicle.
2- Balclis organizes the transportation of the pieces, after accepting a written estimate.
3- Balclis advises you and provides you with the contact information of a company specialized in art transport so that you can organize it directly with them.
Can a lot not be physically in Balclis?
Indeed, it is possible that not all lots are physically in Balclis. Due to its dimensions it may be located in our Warehouse.
What is the bid scale?
Up to € 100: € 5
From € 100 to € 200: € 10
From € 200 to € 500: € 25
From € 500 to € 1,000: € 50
From € 1,000 to € 2,000: € 100
From € 2,000 to € 5,000: € 250
From € 5,000 to € 10,000: € 500
From € 10,000 to € 20,000: € 1,000

I would like to receive the physical catalog of a face-to-face auction. Who do I have to get into?
What happens in the event of a tie or equal bids?
The age of the bid prevails, that is, the one that was registered first.
Can I come to the room on auction day to bid?
Whenever you want. In fact, we encourage you to do so.
What kind of bids can I make?
In face-to-face auctions you can make 4 types of bids:
- Bid in the room
- Written bid that you can leave on the web
- Written bid that you can leave in our Room
- Telephone bid (during the development of the auction)
How and who sets the minimum initial bid?
The minimum initial bid, also known as the Minimum Sale Price, is given by our experts' estimate of a valuable item / s based on prices reached for similar lots in past auctions. The lowest value of this estimate is chosen.
When does the auction of a face-to-face lot end?
The end time will be when the auctioneer terminates the auction of the last lot.
When are the face-to-face auctions?
Balclis organizes several face-to-face auctions a year. Check the dates on the web or better yet, subscribe to our newsletter in Register or at the bottom of the web.
How do I know when an auction starts?
You can consult it in the Auctions section of our website or you can also contact us directly and make the consultation.
Can I see the lots displayed on auction days?
It's not possible. The exhibition always ends on the day prior to the start of the auction. On the day of the auction, the lots are removed as it is held in the same room where the lots have been exposed.
Can I see the lots before the auction?
For face-to-face auctions, you can always see the lots prior to the auction day. On the day of the auction, the lots are removed since it is held in the same room where the lots have been exposed.
Does the bid amount include VAT?
The bid amount does not include VAT, commission, or other possible associated costs. The VAT charged is on the commission, not on the final amount of the winning bid.
Someone has made several bids in a row. Why?
The bidder seeks to achieve the Minimum Price.
I think the seller of the lot is bidding to increase the price.
The contract we sign with our sellers strictly forbids this. In addition, our own technology does not allow sellers bid on their own lots.
How do I know if my bid is the winner?
There are two ways to find out:
1. We notify you by email.
2. Through phone call.
Why was my maximum bid not winning?
There can be two reasons: it has been exceeded or it has not reached the minimum price.
Can I reduce or cancel my bid?
No, each bid is binding and cannot be withdrawn.
What is an estimate?
An Estimate is the approximate value (it is a price range) that our experts believe that the lot will reach at auction based on the price for which similar works have been sold in the national and international market in the United States last years.
What does 'minimum sale price' mean?
The Minimum Sale Price is the lowest quantity that starts an auction. It is a price agreed by Balclis and the transferor of the object or seller.
What does 'minimum initial bid' mean?
The Minimum Initial Bid is the minimum amount to start bidding on a part.
What does 'maximum bid' mean?
The highest bid is the highest price you are willing to pay for a lot at auction.
What is an 'extended bid'?
An Extended Bid is awarded when there is a bid that is made in the last minute of the auction. The system then adds three more minutes to the auction so that the previous bidders can make a last bid.
Why is the term (extended time) to bid for some lots sometimes lengthened?
If a bid is placed at the last minute of the auction, we give three more minutes of time for previous bidders to make a last bid.

If the shipping is handled by Balclis, the shipping costs are reflected in the batch purchase invoice.
What is the estimated delivery time?
Depends on the country and population.
Can I change the delivery address?
Yes, you can change the address. You should only inform us through the Contact Form or through the phone +34 932 175 607.
Who is responsible for importing the lots?
You are responsible for importing your batches. Balclis offers you a service to process the pertinent procedures and ensure that your lot arrives in the fastest way. For any query in this regard, access Contact, and send a message to the Administration department. In the Consultation section give us all the relevant details to help you.
Who is responsible if damage has occurred during shipping?
If you have taken out the insurance offered by Balclis, the person responsible for the Damage is the transport company. Access Contact, and send a message to the Logistics department. In the Consultation section give us all the relevant details to help you.

I have won a batch and made payment, but the batch has been lost during shipping. What should i do
Why do I need to register with Auctionet?
Registration to the online auction portal Auctionet is required in order to continue bidding on your favorite Balclis lots.
Can I see the lots before or during the auction?
Yes. The Location and Visiting Hours of each batch appears on its product sheet, in the left column. For online auctions, you can see the lots during the development of the auction.
How do I know when the auction ends?
Closing is indicated on the product sheet at the top of the bid box. Here You can check the end date of the auction and the remaining time.
To sell
Can I send someone to pick up a batch?
In order for a third party to collect your lot on your behalf, you must send a request to administracion@balclis.com, indicating who will collect & aacute; the lot and attaching the accreditation / DNI of both.
In case of return, how long do I have to collect a lot without penalty?
You have 15 natural days from the date of communication of the return of the lot. You must make an appointment to pick up your item. Do it by calling us at 93.217.56.07. If you notify your disagreement and do not collect the lot or lots within the indicated period, you will incur storage costs at the rate of 5 euro; plus VAT per day and lot.
My lot has not been sold. Is it automatically included in the next auction?
The signed agreement that we reach with each transferor includes a description of the way forward in case the transferor's lot or value is not sold in the first or successive auctions. Obviously it is up to you as the transferor to decide whether or not to continue with a second auction. However, after the first auction is held and if it is not successful, we will send you an email with the relevant instructions.
How can I know if my lot has been sold in a face-to-face auction?
There are 2 ways:

I want to withdraw my batch of the substance. What I do?
The Assignor agrees by contract not to withdraw his lot until the end the auction. Otherwise, BALCLIS has the right to receive from the Seller 20% of the minimum sale price and additional expenses, if any, in concept of damages. While these amounts do not subscribe to BALCLIS, we will have the right to retain the lot and to file the corresponding legal actions.
Where do I send the object?
Once the batch is admitted and processed for auction, we inform you of the place of shipment of the same.
As transferor or seller, when should I take the lot to Balclis?
When the agreement is formalized and the assignment contract is signed.
Who is in charge of transporting your valuables before the auction?

Are shipments insured?
All shipments are insured, provided the owner contract and accept this protection in the transport budget.
How do experts evaluate the valuables that I and other users propose for auction?
Balclis experts study the intrinsic value of a piece or lot and also compare the prices for which similar works have been sold in the national and international market during the last few years.
I want to sell something but I don't know what its value is. Can you give me an estimate?
Yes, access the Ratings section of our website and complete the form for our experts to contact you.
I have a valuables. Is my item appropriate for an auction?
We encourage you to contact Balclis to carry out a free assessment in the Ratings section of our website. Our experts will give you all the relevant information.
What are the inherent costs if a lot that is already at auction is withdrawn?

Are management fees charged to the assignor or seller?
Yes. We will inform you once we have received your free valuation request.
Is a lot insured against possible loss, theft or damage?
While the lot is at the Balclis facilities, it is insured by the Minimum Sale Price minus the corresponding commission.
Do I need a tax registration number to sell at Balclis?
If you are private you do not need a CIF. With your ID, NIE or passport number is enough. If you want an invoice in the name of a company, you must provide the following information: NIF, VAT number or Business number registration of the company. Power of attorney or documentation proving that you can act on behalf of it.
What should I keep in mind when sending photos for an appraisal?
Good quality, definition and different angles.
Is a minimum value required for an item to be accepted for auction?
Not quite. Experts examine the object and inform you about its possible auction sale.
Do sellers have to pay commission?
Yes. We will inform you of the commission once the object has been appraised. Request an appraisal here.
How do I sell my valuables at auction?

Can I sell my valuables at Balclis?
Yeah, sure. Balclis experts will be happy to make an assessment of the price that can be reached at auction, the minimum sale price and the most appropriate auction.
Do I have to pay auction commission if my lot has not been sold?
No, you only pay commission if your lot is sold.

Seller: 20% (on the final price for which the lot is sold) + 20 & euro; / lot sold + other possible charges. Buyer 18% + VAT (on the final price for which the lot is sold) + other possible rates.
